On January 25, 2017,
Minister of Interior Deri announced he had revoked the status of several of the family members of the man who perpetrated the attack in Armon HaNatziv on January 8, 2017, solely because they were relatives of the assailant.
HaMoked received status revocation notices concerning four of the seven family members whom it represents. One of the notices was even sent twice, highlighting the fact that the entire proceeding is rushed and unfair.
HaMoked remains firm in its position that this is a vengeful act which constitutes clear collective punishment.
