HCJ 9132/07 - Al Basyouni et al. v. The Prime Minister et al. Judgment
The Court rejects a petition filed by human rights organizations against the restrictions on electricity and fuel supplies to the Gaza Strip and determines that, following disengagement, Israel no longer has a general obligation to see to the welfare of Gaza's residents. Despite the severe harm to the Palestinian population in the Strip, the Court rules that Israel is fulfilling its obligations under humanitarian law.
