The Berlson Prize was awarded to HaMoked by the Department for Middle East Studies in Ben Gurion University. HaMoked's Executive Director, Dalia Kerstein, received the award of 20,000 NIS on behalf of HaMoked for its social and civic action promoting understanding between Jews and Arabs.
The award was granted to HaMoked for its longstanding work in defending the rights of Palestinians in the Occupied Territories, and for operating as a kind of a microcosm in which Arabs and Jews work together for a common goal.
