Your letter regarding allowing Jaber’s passage from the Gaza Strip to Ramallah
HaMoked and other organizations address the responses of the defense ministry and state attorney’s office to the boycott notice they received from the head of the Gaza DCO. The organizations caution that despite the defense ministry’s notification that the DCO would continue to process applications by the organizations in exceptional, humanitarian, life-saving cases, the Gaza DCO still refuses to cooperate even in such cases. The organizations further stress that the DCO must process applications which are unconnected to the cost of treatment in Israel, i.e. exit by patients to the West Bank and abroad and applications already transferred from the Palestinian Civilian Committee to the DCO.
