* On 29.10.2015, the HCJ held a hearing on HaMoked’s petitions against the intended punitive demolition of six homes. In the hearing, in view of the state’s practice of delaying the implementation of demolition orders which the court had already approved, the justices instructed the state to supply the details of all issued demolition orders which the court had approved since 2013, including the dates of the judgment and actual demolition in each case. This court demand has led HaMoked to monitor the demolition dates, presented herein.


HCJ petition against military’s intent to reimplement a punitive seizure and demolition order

  • 17.11.2016 – petition HCJ 8898/16 filed to court on behalf of the ‘Amer family and HaMoked following the military’s announcement that the family must demolish the top floor under construction, otherwise it would be demolished by the military; the building in question had been rebuilt after it sustained heavy damage following the military’s punitive demolition of its top floor on 16.11.2015 [see above, the Abu Shahin case]; the 2015 demolition was prompted by the attack on 19.6.2015, in which Danny Gonen was killed; seizure and demolition order for the family home in Qalandiya Refugee Camp, Ramallah District, issued 15.10.2015.
