The military announced its intention to demolish the family homes of seven Palestinian assailants and suspected assailants: HaMoked will file objections against the issued demolition orders

A day after the High Court justices criticized the long period of time passing between the attack and the issuance of the demolition order against the suspected assailant's family home, the military issued – as of 12:00 noon, October 15, 2015 – seven demolition orders against the homes of Palestinians who perpetrated or are suspected of perpetrating attacks in recent months. According to the orders, objections to the demolition decisions may be filed by October 17, 2015, at 12:00 noon.

Demolition orders have been issued for the following:

Surda in the Ramallah district – the family home of the assailant in the stabbing attack in the Old City of Jerusalem, October 3, 2015; In this case, the deadline for submitting the objection is October 17, 2015, at 3:50 a.m.

Nablus – the family homes of three of the suspects in the killing of the Henkin couple, October 1, 2015;

Qalandia Refugee Camp – the family home of the suspect in the attack near Dolev, June 19, 2015;

Silwad near Ramallah – the family homes of two of the suspects implicated in the attack near the Shvut Rachel Settlement, June 29, 2015.


HaMoked represents all seven families.
