HaMoked in an objection to the extension of an order banning an East Jerusalem resident from entering the West Bank: the man's right to a hearing was never upheld and he never faced proper questioning about allegations against him

On June 1, 2015, HaMoked learned that the military had decided to extend by four more months the order prohibiting a resident of East Jerusalem from entry to the West Bank. At the same time, the man had also been removed from his city, Jerusalem, and banned from foreign travel – all based on classified intelligence information and without any indictment.

That same day, HaMoked filed an objection to the extension order and protested the manner in which the extension decision had been made – without prior notice of the intended extension, and without upholding the man's right to a hearing. HaMoked also noted that in addition to the lack of proper questioning, the man's computers that had been seized by the police to serve as evidence against him – had not been used after all.
