Legal Aspects of Israel’s Disengagement Plan under International Humanitarian Law
The article deals with the legal ramifications of Israel's withdrawal from Gaza vis-à-vis the legal status of the vacated territory, Israel's obligations toward its residents and the role of international agencies in the area. The article also reviews the legal significance of Israel's plans to destroy military installations and settler homes in the Strip.
