The Quiet Deportation of Palestinians from the West Bank to the Gaza Strip
HaMoked's appeal to the Military Legal Advisor concerning a new and absurd procedure which makes passage from the West Bank to Gaza conditional on the applicant's undertaking never to return to his home in the West Bank, and to change his registered address accordingly. HaMoked has encountered this demand in several of the cases it has handled recently, and claims this is a systematic policy which exploits personal plights in order to transfer as many Palestinians as possible from the West Bank to Gaza.
